Prompts/Guidelines for smore and web 2.0 assignment submissions:
- (1 paragraph) Description: Describe with concrete details and examples what the tool is and what it can do.
- (2-3 paragraphs) CHOICE (Do either A or B but not both)
- Application to Teaching: I would next describe and give specific ways that teachers and students could use it in the classroom to support teaching, learning and other "teacher work" such as professional development, communication with families, etc. List at least three concrete examples with specific potential ties to the curriculum and/or to social-emotional learning.
- Reflection on Implementation in Your Classroom: If you used this tool in your internship/block classroom with students, describe in detail how you used it, for what instructional purpose (e.g. curricular topic, community building activity, etc.), how the lesson went with regard to using this tool, and how the students responded. Avoid shallow or general statements "They loved it" instead using more detailed language "They used it to collaborate with their peers and the responses they came up with showed that they understood ___. For instance, one students posted ______."
- (1 paragraph) Limitations: Describe the specific limitations of the tool and what it can't do or problems it might pose to effective use.
