Some of these additional orientation materials have been made available to the EMC program and are listed below. Some of these will have to be completed during student clinical orientation with the EMC program on campus.

MedWest (Harris Regional Hospital)

To facilitate readiness for clinical placement in any MedWest facility, all students must review the online Academic Affiliate Clinical Orientation Manual and complete the required documents in advance of the start of the clinical experience. All Academic Affiliate Clinical Orientation Manual appendices (A through E) must be completed by every student seeking clinical placement with MedWest. These manuals are to be turned into the Clinical Coordinator.

Spartanburg County EMS

Students must review the manual and sign all required pages within the manual. This must be completed and turned into the Clinical Coordinator in advance of the start of the clinical experience.

Mission Hospital WebInservice

All students completing rotations at Mission Hospital will have to complete assigned modules for orientation to Mission Hospital. Please note that this is completed prior to the senior year clinical rotations. Students will be given a user ID to login. The system is fairly easy to navigate and directions are available. The Clinical Coordinator will issue user ID's and give further directions to students as to when to complete these modules.

Angel Medical Center

All students must complete the HIPAA privacy Quiz as well as signing the Confidentiality Statement. These are both to be turned into the Clinical Coordinator in advance of the start of the clinical experience.

Haywood County Emergency Services

All students must complete, print, and sign the Confidentiality Agreement for Haywood County Emergency Services. This is to be turned into the Clinical Coordinator in advance of the start of the clinical experience.

Macon County EMS

All students must review, print, and sign the Student Ride Along Policy for Macon County Emergency Services. This is to be turned into the Clinical Coordinator in advance of the start of the clinical experience.
