Clinical

Clinical education represents the most important component of paramedic education since this is where
the student learns to synthesize cognitive and psychomotor skills. Clinical education
integrates and reinforces the didactic and skills laboratory components of the program.

The ability to serve in the capacity of an entry level paramedic requires experience with actual patients.
The Clinical Education process enables the student to build a database of patient experiences that serves to help in clinical
decision making and pattern recognition.

Students completing Clinical will need to know lots of information prior to attending rotations.

Where do students go to complete their rotations?

Do I need to complete any training or orientation prior to attending?

How do I get there? and What do I wear?

What paperwork do I need?

Where do I find information regarding my clinical course?

What is FISDAP?

How do I complete Patient Care Reports?
