- Don't like this link? Do one of your own but make sure it is "hot"or clickable and goes to the website AND is a professional website
- TAKE IT ONE MORE STEP: Try adding an image from Pixabay (https://pixabay.com/en/photos/) MUST DOWNLOAD AND INSERT as there is no hot linking to Pixabay images (in other words, linking via a URL).

- WANT A CHALLENGE? Right click on the bookmarks bar to create a folder that you can name and into which you can store/sort your bookmarks.

- P21
- Three things that stand out and you think we should know. Be prepared to share these with the class.
- One question your group has about the standards you have explored.
- Moving on to some technology models: TIM and SAMR- These help inform our work to be CRITICAL THINKERS and INFORMED DECISION MAKERS. This is professional knowledge that will help you as a teacher-scholar.
- TPACK: What is it and why might it be useful in understanding how teachers integrate technology in their practice? The key is to know that the K in TPACK is to know or in other words KNOWLEDGE.
TPACK OVERVIEW (Google Slides)

Alan Parkinson from flikr CC-by-nc-2.0
Let's talk about a teacher you know and his or her TPACK. What did you notice about how Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, and Technological Knowledge come together for this teacher? Strong, weak, innovative, traditional? TPACK is not just knowledge but ALSO putting this knowledge into practice in the classroom.
- Using edpuzzle to assess your understanding of the TPACK model:
- Powerwash your Chromebook - This erases everything including your WCU and gmail login information.
- Sign out of your Chromebook in the bottom right corner.
- When your sign-in screen appears, press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R.
- Restart your Chromebook by clicking “Restart” and once it restarts, follow the prompts to reset or Powerwash the device
HOMEWORK:
- Finish EdPuzzle assignment on TPACK
- Get started on blog #1 - TIM and Tech Models due next Tuesday, Jan 28 by midnight
