Amber H.: Kenya is Not a Single Story

  1. Sign in and stow your phones out of sight. Log into a Chromebook and complete the WYAW activities.

  2. More Digital Stories: Format: Two things that worked well for you in the story.

  3. Topics for digital stories have ranged from.... dealing with anxiety and depression, coming out, sexual assault, growing up with a disability, being bullied in school, living with addiction, the death of a parent, and oppressive relationships. Weddings, babies, a happy change in major to teaching, excelling in a chosen sport, a trip of a lifetime that CHANGED the person.

Happy. Sad. POWERFUL when it is story you wish to tell because "stories matter"!

A digital story can be about almost anything as long as it is a story you feel needs to be told and has a personal component/investment. It can be as revealing as you are comfortable with and you decide who (besides me to grade it) views it. Permission can change at any point in the process.
