Me, my name is John.  How about you?

     

H:

Aya Harold dagwado'a.

My name is Harold.

     

J:

Gatsv hehi?

Where do you live?

     

H:

Waynesville ge'a.  Ihina?

I live in Waynesville.  And you?

     

J:

Tsisgwohi.

Birdtown.

     

H:

Kagi iyusdi tsatsi?

Who is your mother?

     

J:

Carol agitsi.  Ihina?

My mother is Carol.  How about you?

     

H:

Barbara agitsi.  Kagi iyusdi tsadoda?

My mother is Barbara.  Who is your father?

     

J:

John agidoda.  Ihina?

John is my father.  How about you?

     

H:

Doug agidoda.  Tsayosihatsu?

Doug is my father.  Are you hungry.

     

J:

Elisdi.

Seem to be.

Tsatadegi'atsu?

Are you thirsty?

Her name is Barbara.

My mother is Barbara.  Who is your father?

     

J:

John agidoda.  Ihina?  Kagi iyusdi tsadoda?

John is my father.  How about you?  Who's your father?

     

H:

Agidoda Doug dudo'a.

My father is named Doug.
