SECON or Southeastern Conference is an event that holds a number of competitions all around the southeast region of the United States. These competitions include, robotics, programming, technical papers, and more!

The WCU IEEE Student Branch has been mainly focused on the robotics competition for the past three years. We have won first place, third place, and eight place in the University Division. Click here to see some Videos and Photos what we have done in the past.

A robotics team is formed every year with people from all types of fields, from mechanics to engineers. Although many engineers work on the team anyone is welcome, even if you aren't sure if you have enough experience.

Please see the following links for information about SECON.

The IEEE student branch meets every Thursday at 5 pm in Belk 370 to work on the 2013 Southeastcon Hardware competition. All interested students are welcome to attend.
