Here are some ways for you to do research:

 

THE encyclopedia for music is called Grove Music Online.  It is available to you through the WCU Hunter Library.  Here is how you access it.

www.recmusic.org/lieder - this is an excellent source for translations of song texts.  This does not include arias.

 

http://0-www.ipasource.com.wncln.wncln.org/ - This is another excellent source for three different kinds of translations (IPA, word by word AND idiomatic). 



www.aria-database.com - this is an excellent source for translations of arias.  This does not include songs.  This does, however, have more information – plot summaries, sound bites, character stuff, etc.

www.mtishows.com - Music Theatre sources.  Lots of shows available.  Plot summaries.
