Journal

You will keep a journal for all three areas of your course layout. The journal should be divided into three separate chapters: one for any performance experience, one for any production related assignment and one for seminars and other educational discussions. The entries should include dates, hours, people present and a general overview of activities. Also, you should include insights about what you learned, what was easy or difficult for you and any new questions that arose. You should also include a copy of any notes or information taken during that day. Please be thorough. The journal will be turned in late in the term on a date to be assigned and will be read by both Western faculty and Asheville Lyric Opera staff.
