Meli:

Sgi.  Galtsode tsatseli'i agilvkwta.  Galtsode tsatseli'i utana nole uwoduhi.

Thanks.  I like your house.

Your house is big and pretty.

     

Tsani:

Sgi, Meli.  Amatsu tsaduliha?

Thanks, Meli.  Do you want some water?

     

Meli:

Do hada?

What did you say?

     

Tsani:

Amatsu tsaduliha?

Want some water?

     

Meli:

Gayohli.

A little. 

 

Hi'atsu ditsatseli wesa nole gihli?

Are these your cats and dog?

     

Tsani:

Hi'a gihli agwatseliyi.

Aseno hi'a vgidohi wesa tsutseli'i.

This is my dog.

But these are my sister's cats.

     

Meli:

Do dudo'a tsadohi?

What's your sister's name?

     

Tsani:

Ewi dudo'a.

Her name is Eva.

     

Meli:

Hvga iga wesa duwakaha Ewi?

How many cats does Eva have?

     

Tsani:

Tso'i wesa duwakaha.

She has three cats.

 

Practice:  Repeat the dialog with a partner.  Practice both roles.
