7.1.  Agikaha gihli ulvkwtisi!  'My dog is crazy!:  Listen to the teacher model the dialog.  Listen to the teacher model the dialog and repeat after the teacher.

 

Vet:

Hello. This is the vet.

 

 

 

Dog owner:

Siyo Higanikti.

Agikaha gihli ulvkwtisi gelia.

Hello, Doctor.

I believe my dog is crazy.

 

 

 

Vet:

Doha heli'a?

Why do you think that?

 

 

 

Dog owner:

Agadida gohusdi ulvkwtisi nadvneha

She is doing a lot of crazy things.

 

 

 

Vet:

Gedo advneha nogwu?

What is she doing now?

 

 

 

Dog owner:

Nogwu adsidoha.

Now she is running around.

 

 

 

Vet:

Nogwuno.

Do iyusdi advneha?

How about now.

What is she doing?

 

 

 

Dog owner:

Nogwudi gesv'i, gahliha.

Right now, she is sleeping.

 

 

 

Vet:

Nogwuno?

How about now?

 

 

 

Dog owner:

Nogwudi, dahltadega.

Right now, she is jumping.

 

 

 

Vet:

Nogwuno?

How about now?

 

 

 

Dog owner:

Nogwudi, dasuhwisga.

Right now, she is barking.

 

 

 

Vet:

Howa!  Dohiyudi ulvkwtisga gelia aya elisdi.

Tiyatinugadi gihli, nole nvwoti datsineli.

Okay! I believe she truly appears to be crazy.

Bring the dog here and I will give her medicine.
