to relax a bit (while still keeping your chops in shape!!). Below is a
list of etude books and materials I would like for you to have upon
your
arrival at WCU. I realize the expense incurred in acquiring materials
to
begin college so I have tried to keep this list to a bare minimum. You
can purchase all of these items through a local music store, however
you
can generally save 20-60% on items if you order through discount
houses.
I have included approximate prices, addresses, and phone
numbers of the most inexpensive companies. You can order your music
through
the mail and pay the cost and shipping with a personal check. Your
materials
can be ordered by a Toll-Free number with a credit card. The prices

-Valve oil and slide grease (any brand you like; no
vaseline
for your slides!)

arrives. NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO PERFORM OFF OF XEROX COPIES, YOU

One last thing..... You will need $30-50 for your accompanist fee EACH semester. For this money, you will get 2-3 rehearsals and a performance with a WCU Faculty pianist on the WCU Trumpet Studio Recital each semester. This is a GREAT deal as most accompanist would charge at least five times this price!
