    3. Let's add some more content to your Classroom (teacher view)
      • Readworks.org is a powerful tool for building reading comprehension. It offers differentiated passages, support for EL learners, assessments and vocabularly support.
      • Gimkit.com is a gamified version of Kahoot that students can play with the class or independently at their own pace. Check out the version in your EDEL 446: Digital Literacy Google Classroom (student)

    4. We'll do the NearPod activity together as a class with you as students. NOTE: Students can also use teacher created NearPods on an individual, self-paced basis. This is how you'll share your NearPod lesson in your Google Class for points. NearPod has tiers of options based on payment plans but the free or Silver option is still pretty powerful.

    5. NearPod Workshop:
      • Go to the Nearpod library.
      • Search for a pre-made lesson that fits your subject area and grade level; preview it.
      • To keep it to make changes, choose "Add to my lessons"
      • To view and edit your copy, choose "Edit lesson" (this will be your copy in your "My Lessons" area)
      • MODIFY to make it your own! Add content and activities as well as modify existing slides, content, and activities.
      • Click save as you go. TIP: Create a lesson that you can use in your placement for one of the final lessons you have to teach.
      • Once the lesson is competed, post it in your Google Clasroom using the Self-Paced option and share as "Material" in your Google Classroom
      • I'll add myself as a student to your class and check out your lesson! (And give you points)
