  1. Watch these videos on makerspaces:

    Makerspaces and Design Challenges
    from Our Friend John Spencer

Assignment:

  1. Create a new page on your website and call it Makerspaces.

  2. WATCH both videos above to get more information about Makerspaces - the what, how, and why of them.
    1. Choose one of the two videos above and on your webpage, use the "Embed" option from the right side "Insert" menu to add the video to your webpage. You can use the link under the video to embed the video. To get credit it has be embedded and not just the link added. Like so.... https://sites.google.com/view/ncl4elementaryteacher/makerspace

    2. Under your video, add a text box from the "Insert" menu and write YOUR OWN three sentence caption about what the video is about hitting the key parts of the video.

YOUR TURN: Now find a video about Makerspaces that *you* and think is interesting. It must be less than 3 years old and about some aspect of makerspaces (e.g., why they matter, how to set one up, a tour of a school's makerspace, interview with a school library media specialist aka librarian about makerspaces, etc.)

    1. Embed the video you find on your webpage.

    2. Add a text box under the video and write a 4-5 sentence summary about what the video is about. NOTE: Do NOT copy and paste from the description on the YouTube page. This is to be in your own words!

MAKE SURE TO PUBLISH AND SUBMIT THE LINK IN CANVAS TO INDICATE IT'S PUBLISHED
