A PBL Documentary (Middle School M & M)

1. Sign in and stow your phones out of sight. Get an iPad and complete the WYAW activities.
   
   
2. Puppet Pal HD: Your thoughts on this tool for young learners? Anyone like to share one that they created?
   
   
3. Let's watch the Middle Grades Documentary on a Rube Goldberg machine they created. Students were in charge of all creative decision about their multimodal piece (M&M).

5. SMALL GROUP WORK: Small Group PSA
   1. Continue planning your small group PSA using the storyboard and get NL to sign off before you begin filming.
   2. Choose one person in your group who is logged into WeVideo for the group's creation. Everyone will be involved and collaborating but only one iPad is needed per group.
   3. Make sure to TURN UP THE VOLUME on your iPad and don't stand too far away so your audio is picked up.
   4. Be creative, have fun, and make sure to include all elements in your PSA: Title, Credits, Images, Video.
   5. Come back to the classroom to share your group's masterpiece!
      
      
6. Early finishers: Explore the other apps on the iPad and/or create another Puppet Pal HD story.
