  3. Generative AI! What is it and what will it mean for education?
  4. The most well known Generative AI tools are Chat GPT (https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt/) and Bard but there are better ones for teachers using more friendly interfaces called "wrappers". Let's focus on these:
    1. MyLessonPal (no sign up required) https://mylessonpal.com/
    2. Magic School (sign up required but free for now) https://www.magicschool.ai/

  5. What is (a) reflection? In your groups come up with a definition and three characteristics of a reflection.

  6. Technology Assignment DUE **BEFORE* or by April 16:
Create your own digital learning activity based on a lesson you will teach using the FLIPPITY tool (https://www.flippity.net/). Start with the lesson standard and objective as your focus. The goal of this assignment is for you to learn to use Flippity to create something that you can also use in one of your content lessons for Intern I - "Work smarter not harder." This can be in any curricular area you feel is appropriate. Follow the directions for the assignment making sure to include all of these components:

    1. An AI version of your lesson plan BEFORE you modify it pasted into the lesson plan template. (Save As: "flippity lesson plan before")

    2. The STRONGLY MODIFIED version of your lesson plan AFTER you enhance it in the lesson plan template (Save As: "flippity lesson plan after")

    3. MAKE SURE that BOTH the link to your Flippity published game AND the link to your spreadsheet are included on your lesson plan

    4. Reflection on the lesson using the templateYOU MUST TEACH THIS LESSON IN YOUR CLASSROOM (INTERN I).

  7. WEB 2.0 ALERT: Works like the Flippity Quiz Show game. It's called Factile https://www.playfactile.com/.
  8. INTERACTIVES: These are websites that take advantage of the interactivity of an IWB but are not from within the IWB's particular software
  9. Digital Whiteboards: Jamboard https://jamboard.google.com/ and Whiteboard Fi https://whiteboard.fi/ (formative assessment alert!)
