SENATORS RECALL WHITE
FROM GRAND RAPIDS (IHL)

Bonk out 3-6 weeks with fractured left thumb

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators recalled today, for the second time this season, forward Todd White, from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the International Hockey League, to replace centre Radek Bonk, who is out 3-6 weeks with a fractured left thumb.

White, 25, has appeared in 64 games for the Griffins this season, collecting 22 goals and 32 assists for 54 points. The Kanata, Ontario native scored two goals in nine games with the Senators during his first stint in Ottawa from February 19 - March 8.

Bonk sustained the injury during the second period of the Senators 4-0 win at Nashville on March 24. With 23 goals and 36 assists in 74 games with the Senators this season, Bonk was just one point shy of matching his career-high of 60 points, set during the 1999-2000 season.
