NOTICES FOR MAT STUDENTS
See your advisors for help with registration and program planning. Click the MAT Handbook, below, to access program planning info.
Program Planning. As you finish your course requirements, it is important to plan well. All information is available on the MAT website links as well as in the University documents such as the Graduate School website and the Graduate catalog. Students are responsible for following University policies and deadlines.
Internship Planning. You should plan to do your internship
during your final semester, and that takes prior planning. The internship
application and autobiography are due early the semester before the internship.
At the same time you apply for your internship, you should also apply for
graduation. If you miss application deadlines, you may have to stay
in graduate school longer than you had planned. You have to be enrolled
in at least one credit hour during the semester you graduate, including summer.
Intern Registration for Spring 2007: Most interns must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours of EDCI 689. If you need 9 credit hours to qualify for your financial aid, you may enroll in 9 hours of EDCI 689. ART and MUSIC students are an exception, as they may enroll in 3 hours of ART or MUS internships in addition to the EDCI 689 hours; contact Dr. Tapley or Dr. Bauer for course and section numbers.
