PRACTICUM INFORMATION & MATERIALS

This section was set up for those who do not have a teaching position and have to do a practicum with a host teacher.  If you have a teaching position, you will complete the practicum requirements in your own class.  The guidelines are for a minimum amount of time, but the student should try to do more hours than the minimum.  Contact Dr. Herzog for clarification at mherzog@wcu.edu or 828 227 3327.   Lateral entry teachers can do their practicum work, lesson and unit planning, on the job.
