The Qualitative Research Group
Western Carolina University
The Qualitative Research Group was formed by faculty in 1989 to provide collaborative support for qualitative researchers. As qualitative research has become a more widely accepted form of inquiry over the years, the QRG has emerged into a peer learning community where research ideas are discussed. While the QRG is a forum for the presentation of scholarly work that uses qualitative methods, the group also provides a community for mutual learning about qualitative methods, interpretation of data, and research design. The QRG is open to faculty, students, and others from the University community. It is now affiliated with the Coulter Faculty Center.

Schedule
The QRG typically meets the third Friday of the month. Scheduled dates and locations for 2008-09 are listed below. All meetings are scheduled for 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Information will be added as it becomes available.
