| School of Music Scholarships | There are a limited number of scholarships funded directly by the WCU School of Music. Applicants must audition in person by March 1, 2008 to receive full consideration for these awards. |
| North Carolina Teaching Fellows | One of the most prestigious awards in North Carolina, the Teaching Fellows Program provides a $6,500 per year scholarship for four years to 500 outstanding North Carolina high school seniors. This is a great scholarship for future Music Educators to pursue. |
| Graduate Assistantships in Music | Assistantships are available to Masters students with a variety of skills, including a new assistantship specifically for trombonists. |
